Rescued cats adopted SunLit Surf subscribers Robert Blankenship and Lori McKinney adopted these kittens... Cookie and Cursor were rescued by SunLit Surf project manager Helen Ryan, at her rural Mercer County home. The wild kittens were brought to SLS in the custody of Ellen Friend (Helen's sister). Ellen and Helen sought out people who might want to adopt the cute pair, as they put in extra hours (seven-days-a-week) making sure the kittens received attention and food. It didn't taken long before Robert and Lori happened by the office and fell in love with the little rascals. Thanks Robert and Lori! for adopting the kittens.
